Parsec Review
Parsec is a powerful software tool that allows you to play PC games on your Android device, or remotely control a game on the computer. It has a few setup steps that are a bit lengthy, but once you've finished you'll be able to enjoy some excellent gameplay with little to no lag or other issues.
While the software is free to download, a subscription is required to use the full features of the program. There are several plans to choose from, starting at $8 a month for individuals and going up to $30 per user for Teams.
Parsec specializes in low-latency streaming, making it perfect for gaming and other demanding tasks. It also offers a few customization options for display and input settings to optimize the experience. However, like most remote access programs, Parsec requires a stable internet connection to function well. Parsec is unable to work well over 5GHz WiFi connections, and may require Ethernet for best results. Additionally, monthly data caps will make using the program difficult.
The software works by screen sharing your computer over a secure encrypted peer-to-peer connection that doesn't store any of your data on a server. This makes it safe to use, even in workplaces where employees may have access restrictions. The program is a favorite of gamers and video editors alike, with tech YouTube channel Linus Tech Tips giving it rave reviews for its responsiveness. Unlike other similar services, Parsec doesn't require you to install additional software or pay for extra hardware to enable it to work properly.
